Frequently asked questions

How many people per helicopter?+

Five passengers on the Kathmandu legs. At Kala Patthar the aircraft shuttles two or three at a time because of the thin air at 5,545m.

What if the weather is bad?+

Flights go early morning when Himalayan weather is most stable. If we cannot fly we reschedule to the next clear day or refund in full.

Will I feel the altitude?+

Possibly, briefly. The landing lasts around ten minutes and oxygen is carried on board.
