Mardi Himal Trek

A quiet ridge walk with Machhapuchhre close enough to touch - the best short trek in Nepal.

Duration
6 days
Max altitude
4,500m
Group size
1–16
Start / end
Pokhara → Pokhara

Overview

Mardi Himal follows a forested ridge directly beneath Machhapuchhre, staying high with almost continuous views. It only opened as a teahouse route in 2012, so it stays far quieter than the Annapurna classics while delivering scenery that rivals them. Six days from Pokhara makes it the strongest option for travellers short on time.
