Overview
Chitwan was Nepal's first national park and remains its best wildlife destination. Three days of jeep safari, dugout canoe on the Rapti river and guided walks with a naturalist give a strong chance of one-horned rhino and sloth bear, with tiger a genuine if less likely possibility. Evenings include a Tharu cultural programme in the village.
